Like the dinosaurs I wouldn't want to bring Megalodons back since they'd be very damaging to the food chain. They prey on whales, dolphins, porpoises, manatees, seals etc. Number of these species could dwindle significantly.
Personally, I am happier that the ocean is without that menace.
biggest Carnivore* ever.
Biggest carnivorous fish.
who the hell or what the hell is a Cthulhu anyways? Some kind of retard probably...
no it was the biggest carnivore ever, it was estimated to weigh in at over 47 tons with the 6 inch tooth. but when they found that tooth thats like 2 feet long, they recalculated it to over 100 tons.
besides, the second largest carnivore was calculated to be the Spinosaurus, weighing in at only 8 tons at the most.
ugh once again i forgot to do some research... yes it was the largest at over 100 tons, yet the spinosaurus wasnt second.
i forgot of the carnivorous whales, which ruled the oceans until the ocean currents changed and drove them to extinction, leaving only the ones that ate kril like blue whales. thus gave rise to the megalodon, which went extinct for reasons i dont know, but i hope it stays extinct.
but like i also said earlier, we've only covered about 2% of our oceans with exploration, the megalodon could still be out there in the depths of the abyss....
