Okay first thing is first ; who ever came up with the stupid idea of "eople evolving from apes" I think that theory is crap . Who is with me ?
Our genetic code only has a few differences from apes, so it is estimated with great belief that we are connected through slight changes in DNA. Everything sounds stupid when you state it bluntly. Who came up with the idea of an all-powerful being that decided to make other life?
By the way, I am Christian (I assume you are a creationist and therefore have some belief in a higher power), but I still believe evolution can co-exist with the idea of religion. And if you don't fully understand it, I don't think you're in a position to contradict it. It's very complicated, even for me, which is why I don't have a definite standpoint yet.
This is a really tough subject, because there is no evidence for neither of the theories. Although, "evolution" has become close to science-fact. We have one less DNA strand than apes. Scientists think this is because two DNA strands fused together. I'm a Christian, (sort-of, but not really) so I know how it feels to have this stuff shoved in our faces, but I'm kinda starting to believe in it. I just don't think there is a God.
I am Christian to but the Bible says that God created the human species to live on Earth and be fruit full .
It says he created the animals first; maybe after that he created us through evolution. I am one of the interpretists for the Bible, and one of my favorite things, especially for the creation story (1st one), the Bible says seven days; DAY could be taken to mean God's day, which could've been billions of years. That would be enough time to evolve, and leave enough room for the existence of the earth to be as old as it is believed to be.
How come people dont believe in God . That is just shocking to me .

So.. all you have as 'roof' is a book.. written in pieces... both more then, and approximately 2,000 years ago.. by people describing the eye-witness testimony of *other* people.
People today are gullible as hell, why should I think for a second that the Bible is accurate in it's testimonials?
If you are someone who puts value in reason and science, in the court of science, eye witness testimonial is the *lowest* form of evidence.
So, we have the bible, which even by eye witness testimony standards, is bad - and nothing else to prove the existence of god. I'm like you, in the sense that I'm shocked - though my amazement is on the other side of the fence.
Is there a compelling reason you have that I should believe?

Religion's kind of a personal thing, something that can't just be give and take. Sure, certain environments may tweak the circumstances, but even if there was but one purely logical man who didn't believe in Christianity, there'd be no way you or I could change his opinion. Of course, like HiddenDistance said, some people are gullible, but I'm also envisioning a world where everyone is intelligent.
I dont see any other animals getting all intellegent and starting to communicate ect.

Anyway, like I told you, I'm not an expert on the subject either, but it sounds like the change is a very gradual thing. One thousand years from now, apes could be hairless all over but the head, and that would be considered normal. A thousand years later, they where clothing, also considered normal. Soon, they are humans like everyone else, and the evolutionary history is neither remembered nor proven. Well, assuming we didn't have access to our old technology. But you see, put this in reverse, back before things like that were recorded. Is it possible that apes were much, much less like humans than they are now?
Just some thinking exercises to throw out there, though. Maybe somebody smarter than me can fill you in on evolution. Or you can try google.
Besides that: No, humans did not evolve from apes, apes and humans have a common ancestor, from which we evolved.
Sorry about that. Like I said, I don't know much about evolution, so I don't have a biased opinion on it yet.
Ow yea what year is it ? 2009 . Jesus Christ was born on the year zero . That is the time we work on . How is that for proof ?

Okay I understand but I did some research just now and found out that apes are totally diverent from humans . Why do you think aids got started ? ; People eating apes . Humans are not anyting like apes exept apes have the same form as a human . An ape's brain is much smaller than a humans , I mean they have less braincells .
