I am a major Disturbed fan, don't get me wrong, but David Draiman is not the best singer. I mean, I like his Owahahaha! growls and such, and his melody in songs like Darkness, but if you've ever seen him live, he's really not that good. I guess a lot of it is fixed and made to sound better, you know. =( But they still rock!
I really dislike Disturbed. I've listened to a lot of their songs, and it's absolutely incomprehensible how people can call them the best and ever and not be laughed at.
There's no artistic merit to most of it, and the instrumentation is boring. None of their songs come together to anything special or creative. Draiman has an awesome studio voice, but that's really all Disturbed has going for it.
Eh well everybody has their own opinion, right? I personally like them, apparently alt doesn't. T-t-t-tip: DON'T HEADBANG AT A CONCERT. It'll make you dizzy, and if you fall, you're done for.
Did me voicing my dislike for Disturbed inebriate or otherwise debilitate or disorient you? Take deep breaths, play some nu-metal, and relax to cure these symptoms. :P
*counter's alt's countering inside joke with another inside joke* *bats away ham salad sandwich using a flexi ruler* A few? Come on, give em more credit than that! Have you heard all of their songs?
Sarthra21 is right take for instance down with the sickness when he was younger hes father beat him then left the family. after that his mother beat him because she blamed him for his father leaving.
or maybe inside the fire when he was 15 he had a girlfriend that got hooked on heroine. sence he wasnt supposed to have a girlfriend yet he didnt tell anybody later in the year she ended up killing herself hence the first line "devon wont go to heaven" he obviously changed the name though
So to all out there that dont think their songs have meanings maybe look a little closer they might not relate to your life but that doesnt mean they arnt there
