Put simply, I got some money and don't feel the Wii fufills my gaming needs, so I have a choice to make. I know that I don't want the ps3 or psp (one is too expensive, the other has only one game that I want), but that still leaves the 360 or dsi.
They are both about the same price, and my brother already has the ds lite, so I will be able to play multi-player just about whenever I want. However, it won't expand what I can play from my wanted book (bad joke, I know and I don't care).
The other option is the 360, which will expand my wanted list by at least 15 or 20 games, but my parents won't let me do online, so that does mean that I can't get any downloadables (Portal...), but I can still do multiplayer with my brother. Also, I heard the 360 death rate has rose up to 56%, and I don't really have a job, so it will be a while until I will be able to replace it.
I can't make up my mind, but maybe you can. Thanks!
You do know that both 120 gig xbox elite and 120 gig PS3 slim are both 299 right insomniaticscreamer? Ignore buttersnack If you could play online I would recommend MAG but since you can't....................MAG is going to rock though 256 player battles FTW

Yes, I do know they are the same price, but the cheapest model 360 is $160, and the PS3's cheapest is $220.
id say get a xbox 360 , besides if you get it from microsoft or an official store youll get a 3 year warranty for the three red rings and a one year warranty for all others, besides if you do want a dsi you would be better getting a normal ds or ds lite seeing as the ds is more expensive for essentially nothing extra
Should this even be a competition? This is ridiciulous...
Agreed... there is not much comparison.
Only thing that the DSi has going for it right now is portability... and you can hack it.
But, the 360 is so powerful and has way more features compared to the DSi, so get a 360. You probably won't be disappointed (unless it does the RRoD :0 )

And yes, I do know about MAG, don't insult me.
By the $160 xbox you are talking about the arcade right because once you buy a harddrive and a controller (Don't think it comes with one) it ends up being a lot more. You probably already knew that though. And how was I insulting you?
Note: Dont post huge pictures on the forums directly it makes you look dumb if its big provide a link to it on photobucket or something
PLease, read previous posts. IT's already been discussed that Gamepro, (an independent magazine) proved 54% is just a made up number by Sony fanboys, and the only reason so many fail is because old Arcades are still in peoples homes. THe consoles sold now are roughly 1 in 30.

It's $199 where I live... and it comes with stuff:
XBOX 360 Arcade console is everything you need to begin playing right out of the box, including Family Settings that allow parents to restrict game access for younger players. Comes with a wireless controller, five arcade games, and a memory unit. This console includes an HDMI output, so you can experience your games in the highest definition possible, up to 1080p (HDMI cable sold separately).
