Oh my god, I just want to start out by saying; I hate this subject. Americans might call it PE(pee?), but I call it School Gymnastics.
Anyway, it's a really hard subject. Everyone is at least one year older than me, but that's not really what I'm getting to.

I'm getting my grades for the first time at Christmas. I'm really exited! But I don't expect to get high grades on School Gymnastics... They rate you how fast you are, how strong I am and so forth. I jog every day, from school and to school with a backpack filled with homework on my back. It's about 10km there, and 10km home. I jog 20km everyday with a backpack. Still, I'm really bad in school gymnastics.

I have to say I think I'm pretty fast... But sports? I'm the worst! I'm no good at either catching balls (sports balls... >_&gt nor throwing balls. The only sport I'm decent at is Badminton.. It's a mystery why. Everyone in my class is like and expert at Football (for all you Americans; Soccer). I'm awful at it. I just can't explain why. It feels so sad to let down my class... But on the other hand they deserve it.

Currently in School Gymnastics I'm throwing a 5kg metal ball over a rope. I can throw about 7m. It's kinda heavy! And yeah, I'm weak. Seriously, my arms are weak. My legs are super strong.. But not my arms. Enough of that.

All in all, I don't like School Gymnastics. It's too hard, too strict and too hard to get good grades. I'm hoping to get accepted.
And enough about me, what do you think about School Gymnastics? Are you good at it? Are you bad?

PS, sorry about the long OP...

We don't do gymnastics in PE, but I'm bad overall at physical activities.

Ugh. I hate phys. ed. Mainly because I'm not too particular on running two miles every other day. But dodge ball is fun.

Hrm, here we never run, it's mostly just games.
Like, floor hockey, Dodgeball and other fun things, we can often choose what we do, and it's more to get rid of all that bottled up energy through the day. Plus you get a little more wiggle room on the "swearing" part for gym class :P

But, yeah, we get marked on effort not how good you do.

Does it really mater? In my experience P.E. was just one of thsoe throw away subjects you were forced to do but didn't count for much.

At my school the boys were split into 3 groups based on ability. Luckily I managed to get into the bottom group which was great becasue it was a right piss take and we didn't do anything for 2 years and the other 2 groups had to runa round and play sports etc. XD There weren't any fat people in the group just very lazy bored kids.

But I hate P.E. I'd much prefer to be sat in a nice warm class room than get kicked and beaten on the rugby field.

holy s***! 10k that's about 5.5 miles in America! I think your lying there because no one in there right mind would RUN with a backpack weighing around 18 pounds! ( about 9 or 10 kilograms in Europe) Most people will take the bus or ride a bike for that distance. I take that back actually. You COULD do it if you got up like 3 hours early. >_<

My PE classes are really easy, if you fail it, then well you fail. We get graded on trying, having our gym clothes, and occasional written tests (on rules of games and such). I haven't been in PE for awhile though, what with swim and drivers ed. I'll be back in it next semester, every other week. Alternating between swim and PE.

In my class, you just hafta show up in your gym clothes, and you get a hundred.

Though they ARE introducing tests this year... which is... obnoxious...

And I like PE. It's exhilarating. I need to work on my stamina, but I'm one of the faster kids, and definitely one of, if not THE strongest kid in my class.

Personally, I'd much rather do the mile than be struggling to stay awake in my French class.

School has been out for 3 weeks for me, so I wouldn't have anything to say about that. I generally suck in P.E. I can't run a mile worth crap, and I'm plain lazy. You'll probably see me just standing around with friends, instead of the people who are hyped about playing Basketball.

Its more fair than you think. As most people go to school during the winter, and get of summer, so places go to school during the summer, and get off winter. We both go to school for the same length of time however.

But Here its called Phys.ed (physical education) And i find it really easy..all we do is play sports. And Team sports. So no matter how much you suck, you teammates can usually pick up the slack. Of course, where i live, my community is full of sports people, and most of my classmates lack intellect. -.-
