Oh my god, I just want to start out by saying; I hate this subject. Americans might call it PE(pee?), but I call it School Gymnastics. Anyway, it's a really hard subject. Everyone is at least one year older than me, but that's not really what I'm getting to.
I'm getting my grades for the first time at Christmas. I'm really exited! But I don't expect to get high grades on School Gymnastics... They rate you how fast you are, how strong I am and so forth. I jog every day, from school and to school with a backpack filled with homework on my back. It's about 10km there, and 10km home. I jog 20km everyday with a backpack. Still, I'm really bad in school gymnastics.
I have to say I think I'm pretty fast... But sports? I'm the worst! I'm no good at either catching balls (sports balls... >_> nor throwing balls. The only sport I'm decent at is Badminton.. It's a mystery why. Everyone in my class is like and expert at Football (for all you Americans; Soccer). I'm awful at it. I just can't explain why. It feels so sad to let down my class... But on the other hand they deserve it.
Currently in School Gymnastics I'm throwing a 5kg metal ball over a rope. I can throw about 7m. It's kinda heavy! And yeah, I'm weak. Seriously, my arms are weak. My legs are super strong.. But not my arms. Enough of that.
All in all, I don't like School Gymnastics. It's too hard, too strict and too hard to get good grades. I'm hoping to get accepted. And enough about me, what do you think about School Gymnastics? Are you good at it? Are you bad?
Never been good at it. My stamina is a bit low when it comes to that, and a fear of foot- and handballs has made it quite hard to actually participate in that kinds of sports (a good reason why I was picked last, I guess). Volleyball, badminton and other rather... individual sports (volley might b on a team, but you are not getting slammed in the floor because you got the ball) I am quite decent at, and Basket too... But I am still happy we are not getting forced to do any of that anymore. Thank goodness for university.

I'm waiting for that too :0 lol
SO yeah... I'm in grade 10... I go to a french immersion public school. Grade 10 is the last year my province requires you take P.E. to graduate, thank god. We don't do much, we usually just practice and play a sport for two weeks, then switch the sport.
Although, I do hate when we have to do weight training, I find it pointless and it's boring... and the fitness tests... AGH! The beep test should die! (even if I get good marks because of it, lol)
We mostly get marked on how well we participate (as in, effort). We get marked a bit on our performances (or skills) but not much. We also get marked on how much french we speak in class weekly... that's a mark killer... lol
Agreed... I am not a good runner (cycles, swimming, walking fast, all good. Running: NO), so often I am the one dying...
Meh... I'm alright at running... (i.e. one of the top 3 in my class), but stuff like basketball? Total fail. I can cycle and swim well too (I just swam 700 metres yesterday... lol)... but football, basketball... not really my forte :P
Though they ARE introducing tests this year... which is... obnoxious...
I was always the best at school gymnastics, so it's my favorite subject. I have to admit though that I find it some times boring especially when we have to learn tactics and rules about sports. It's great, I am good at almost nay sport and the e teachers find me kind and etc. So I have always great votes. My worst vote was 19/20, the reason for that vote was that the teacher did not know me.
