I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, Disney has more resources to pull from while making a movie. However if Disney executives feel it's more profitable to reach a larger pre-teen audience, will they start taking the axe to Marvel story lines.

Will Marvel movies, tv shows have to be edited (censored) to be shown on Disney channel?

One more point I want to make.

The deal underscores Disneyâs focus on growth and could herald a new wave of media consolidation, analysts said.

Is this a sign of things to come? Where Google, Walmart and Disney own everythng through some form of consolidation.

Well this in my opinion is a good thing. That means more Marvel movies. I really like Marvel movies, and Disney has a lot of money to spend, so that means more epic movies!
