Anyone ever thought of a singing competition? This is the Art, Music, and Writing forum, yet I see no music?

Would anyone be interested in participating in a sort of "Armor Games Idol", a singing competition? You could record your voice with a mic then send it in... and there could be themes for each week.

There could be voting for who would "go to the next round" or it could be decided just by the judges.

As well, we could have it in the form of the poetry contest/ASC where there is a different competition each week.

Anyone interested?

Lol, you would have to threaten me at gun point to make me sing, besides I don't have a mic.

Problem: Not many of us are writing anything us selves, which is why the former armor idol was held in the pop. med. section, and people gave recordings of they playing and singing talents (or lack thereof, maybe).

I would record some piano for you, but I lack the recording ability. Unless my camera has a mic?

Does singing thrash/death metal count? I can sing For Whom the Bell Tolls really good (sorta), and Damage Inc. too.

Not really good, but hell it's heavy metal. I ain't singing Iron Maiden :P

Singing isn't really a strong point of mine though :P

I would. Does anyone know how to transfer a recording from cell phone to computer?
I do sing rather well. All types of music. Although you wouldn't be able to make me sing anything I don't like.

I had an Armor Idol in the tavern before, but it was sort of unrelated to singing.

Is the recording on a (micro)SD card, or directly on the phone? What type of phone do you have? Did it come with a USB cable?

Do we have to sing a specific song or what?

Or can we sing whatever?

When this starts of course. At least my voice hasn't changed in 6 years :P

Unlike everyone elses XD

I sing everything the same.

Hmm, thats a shot at our many young members lol.

I actually do sing a lot, but only in my house or with friends, but I have to much of a southern twang that I can't override > <

Let's put it this way: if we had an Armor Idol, Pierce Brosnan would win. Catch my drift?

Lawl. Not really. My voice never changes. If I went back in time my friends would recognize my voice.

Lynyrd Skynyrd? Did I spell that right? You could sing freebird? Or Sweet Home Alabama?

Ronnie Van Zant (rest his soul) could sing, my twang makes me not be able to hold a note very well.

So is this gonna be made? If so, I am gonna start practicing 'Wonderwall' by Oasis and 'Undead' by Hollywood undead...
