Yeah, actually. It would've taken like 5 minutes to do, had no downside, and dues to the fact they didn't, I went 360. (Now, me alone changing consoles isn't much, but I know for a fact I wasn't the only one who had their minds changed by this. It might be in the 1000s.

I thought this was only going to happen in the PS3 slim. Are you saying this would be for all PS3's?

I know that the 60gb model of the PS3 is like the only backwards compatible for ps2, i think..

So, is the 20 GB model, and the 80 GB CECHE01 model.

I think it's stupid... but this is probably a move to make you buy a PS2 if you really want to play those games. I think they kind of screwed the consumer by saying it would be backwards compatible at the start.

I really don't care if the PS3 won't have backwards compatiblity. I already have my old PS2, which isn't broken. Yet.

And it would be easier to not have to drag out another console out of the closet and set it up... it would be easier to have backwards compatibility :|
