What kind of MMO's has anyone played? I've played Maple Story (Bera; level 43 Fire/Poisen; and level 82 Priest), Guild Wars, WonderKing, Dark Eden, and I'm starting Combat Arms.
loooool.. i have played MANY.. but my favorites have to be Rohan,4story,Shaiya,Archlord was good,Runes of Magic was fun, and many more just cant remember them all
Oh yeah! I forgot about WoW. Everyone plays that game xD You should'nt play Everquest though. I'm sure everyone's heard the story about the kid who killed himself over it....
Don't bother with Combat Arms. Here is the breakdown.
Large Maps=Sniperfest.
Medium Maps=Combination of Large and Small.
Small Maps=People hide in places you don't expect. Then when you walk by they follow you and kill you behind your back.
Also, with automatic weapons, it's basically how lucky you are. They make weapon recoil so high that right away your cursor gets huge and yo bassically hope one of your bullets is a headshot.
Also, you have to rent weapons.
Also, they made grenade explosion radius too high.
Totally. Going to break out the barb when I get to it.
I like professional MMO's, not flash-created, amateur-hired ones. Ones that you buy at the stores so you at least know it's decent. While I hate the latter kind, I hate even more the horrible, boring flash mmos that require you to pay money to enjoy their abomination to the fullest extent. I leave those alone, but not without giving my two cents about their greed.
I am currently playing Quake Live alot now, It is a MMOFPS and I like the gameplay and challenges it constantly bring me. But as far as skill goes, I think I a n00b.
Nope. It's scheduled to be released in America in 2010, and for some strange reason, released earlier in Europe. You gotta wait even more, bud.
RPG's are fun, I just hate the cliche ones. Like the really, REALLY cliche ones where you have three classes, warrior, mage, rogue, and the first quest you have to kill bandits or thieves. Really shows that the creators think a lot /sarcasm
WoW, City of Heroes/Villains, Warhammer, Guild wars, Runescape, and pretty much every free MMORPG to come out of the rancid sewage of videogame development (Korea) over the years. Playing something horrible is a good way to prevent burning out on other MMOs... Or maybe I'm a masochist.
I've played so many over the years, I'll list them in order of quality (in my opinion): Final Fantasy XI, City of Heroes, Star Wars Galaxies (pre-horrible update), Ultima Online, World of Warcraft, EverQuest, Guild Wars, EVE Online and too many free MMORPG's to name. Right now I'm not playing any, taking a short break to lessen my backlog of games, but I'm going to be playing a few in the months to come; Champions Online, The Old Republic (When it gets released), The Secret World (When it gets released)
