Yes, Armor Tasks. It is kinda like badges, but not the same. They have an ArmorGames twist to them. You see, I was thinking, you could have ArmorTasks for most of the games. Probably just the ones with over 450,000 plays.
Here how I think it should look.
Armor Shield: An easy task for a game. Complete it and get 2 AP
One Armor Sword: A medium task for a game. Complete it and get 4 AP
2 Armor Swords (in the X formation): A hard task. Complete it and get 7 AP
Armor Games Emblem(the swords and shield): An immposible task. Complete this and get 15 AP
An example:
(One Armor Sword)
Hedgehog Launch - Get your Hedgehog to the moon! In X amount of days.
You get the point. Don't you? I would think that these would best be placed either under the description of the game, or somewhere beside the game itself.
I mean, it is ArmorGames! Why not add some fun to the games with an AG twist. And yes, I know. "It's copying badges from Kongregate!" Not exactly. I mean these aren't badges. Just little tasks to make playing the games funner. What do you guys think about it?
yes but when i hear immposible i think of something that is...... well..... immposible. just didnt get it is all. but this is a pretty good idea and would add some serious replayability. i would play all those games i beat just for a few extra AP.its too bad it wont get implimented...... anyone at AG listening?
You also have to take into account people who use cheat engines to hack the games... this could potentially give people completed tasks that they have not actually completed.
And plus... AP right now measures how active you are around AG, not how good you are at gaming. This would completely change the system.
15 AP for an impossible task? And yet a merit is 25, and merits are possible. Raise the reward and it may work a bit better...
Merits you actually work for. No, I haven't gotten one or thought about working for one, but I've seen a review waiting to be approved, and there was definitely some soul put into it.
All that in one review for 25 AP. You can get multiple tasks done for over 30. Something to think about there, the balance of AP tasks between difficulty and endurance.
