Welll... more or less. I expected that you'd write a villanelle but I didn't expect it to be your Colony fanfiction (more on that later) for obvous reasons that you stated.
Personally, I find villanelle to be a difficult form of poetry, particularly for telling a coherent story.
That sounded vaguely like a Bruce Almighty ref. You should ttly write an epic tale about a foldaway plastic spork that falls in love with a knife, runs away from it's home in south spoonsville, and goes on some pointless adventure.
