I made a theory that progress means everything. With that, read my short, simple, but sweat theory on why I think progress is so important. And, as always, do the community justice and discuss my theory here. With that, I present to you, Progressionism!
I was sitting in my study, thinking, and I made an undeniable revelation. Progress is the answer...
To what you might ask? Well, if you think about it, progression is the result of hard work and determination, the output of everything productive that we do. With progress comes achievement, discovery, everything we need. With progress we can cure cancer, stop global warming, prevent the annihilation of humans as a species. With progress, great things will happen. Progress is a simple almost mathematical equation that equals one thing: answers. Answers to any question. But without hard work we cannot make progress. Hard work is the unnamed variable in this undeniable equation; it could be anything. Determination to discover, solve problems, and so much more. Therefore, let there be progress, and let us progress for the sake of progress.
Valkyrie, you're kinda barking up the wrong tree if you're asking for progression from America. Kinda sad, but typical Americans don't do anything unless there is an automatic incentive involved, not possible theories. Not that yours is bad or anything, just saying that Americans aren't the correct type of race to talk about that with, because they simply won't do it >_>
Americans aren't the correct type of race to talk about that with,
Not a race, a group of people on new land. Really I only consider people that have been on America for a while (not myself) so they don't really have any connection to Germany/Africa/Wherever they came from. And Yeah, This new, American World will fall to bricks and pieces. We can't compete with the rest of the world, because many of our children/students think they have an easy ride. Stay in a big city, eat on the economy with a crap job. The people out in the rest of the world are workin' harder, and progression as you say does what it does - But it is a gradual process.
With progress, great things will happen.
Agreed with the Good+Bad Statement. Also, Progress depends on your goal. What if Progress to me was Nuclear-Atomic Bomb making at ridiculously high and cheap rates? -- I would screw the world over. And as Graham posted progress can be screwed over, too.
Progress is just the beginning, to motivation, first step forward, etc etc. But Progress doesn't really mean anything on its own, As Graham stated.
Kinda like in School -- you get a progress report, yaay, You have a 90 in English. But the actual report card says a 79 because you failed two tests later.
