I am sick, and tired of threads talking about how Capitalism, and Socialism being mocked. It's leading nowhere, so can we just stop with this nonsense, and just be friends with people who have different opinions on their ideleogy. Who knows maybe they'l turn,and say "Hey, i'm gonna be on your side".

I saw a thread like this on Kong once, except it was about religion. Thing is, people supported it over there <.<

I'm not saying it's good to have people mocking, but most people on AG tend to have their reasons as to why they support one or the other. It seems to just be a select few who haven't yet recognized the significance of intelligent debate, and instead mock.

We use the Caps Lock button only when necessary. This is not one of those times.

I'm not saying it's good to have people mocking, but most people on AG tend to have their reasons as to why they support one or the other.

ComradeGamer looking at your previous posts it seems you not only want these political debates to stop but the religious debates as well. Any other debates you feel should stop? How about stopping debates on how debates should be stopped?

No, he doesn't want the debating to stop, he just wants to keep it from getting into and all out war. lrn2rights.

Also, I like the idea, comradegamer. I had been thinking the same thing.

I believe people are taking this thread too litteral. I think what he wants is for people to be more accepting of everyone else's views. Everyone needs to stop being so defensive. It's not so much that he wants the debates to stop, as he wants the pointless arguements to stop.

It's a bit boring debating always about the same things, but it's an impossible thing to avoid, cause the capitalism vs. Communism is one of the most popular topics everywhere. We can't do much about it.

I think that's a great idea. If you are on a debate team, you are not aloud to let personal emotion get in the way; you can not use obscene language; you have to thoroughly research each side of the argument; and you have to be respective of the opposing argument. That's what debate is. Debate is NOT arguing nor is it calling people names because they don't believe the same as you; nor is it correct to debate if you have not done your research. Practicing arguing instead of debating turns in to &quotointless arguments" because it does not, in anyway way shape or form, get the actual point across.

I appreciate the acceptance trying to take place, but I think that debating is a very important part of Armor Games, just as much as the games that make Armor Games. But, I think that when you overkill a certain subject with constant debate, it gets pretty old.
