there are alot of atheists and Christians and threads about these so i thought why not create a muslin thread and another reason why i created this thread is because i was wondering if there were other muslims on ag.

I don't think you (No offence) or most of the people here know what they believe.
They declared Jihad on us because America is an evil place, and there is no one here trying to stop it. While there is a Jihad, sinful may it be, Muslims are still better people than Americans, in terms of a lot of religions.

Murders happen in America, or are you really that naive? The total number of murder's in the U.S.A. for 2006 ( 17,030 ) 2007 ( 16,929 ) 2008 ( 16,442 ) and 2009 ( 15,241 ).
Comparing recent statistics for murders of USA and the middle east cannot be taken as 100% reliable because US/UK troops killing "The enemy" and innocent civilians is added to the countries murder rate, not the country who committed it.
Sure, the Qu'ran promotes violence, but it has more peace in it than violence. The Bible also promotes violence and as peace in it - The bible contains more violent references than the Qu'ran.
Now i'm not a Muslim trying to argue Islam is the best - I'm a Christian who knows it's ignorant to judge an entire religion, that's over 1billion people in the world, for the very small number of terrorists.

Jesus the holy son himself ordered to slaughter before him all those who didn't want him as their leader, while on the same time, those who did bad stuff yet wanted him as leader only got punished, or better, 'classified' as not as good as others.
I don't know if the bible contains more violent things than the Qu'ran of vice-versa, I rather believe both hold just as many heaps of violent passages than the other.

Yup, commonly the bible is the old and new testament together. Anyway, I always thought that the new testament was the tame version with a god who doesn't meddle all too often in human affairs, and that the old testament is the one filled with gore, hate, violence, intolerance, perversion, genocides etc.?
