As long as you don't switch for them, you can keep them for a while.

I've also seen some people have some armatars that are normally worth say 5500 but are only serfs.

This probably doesn't explain many of those, but i'm guessing that some people spammed a lot, then changed their armatar before the mods removed their spam.

Fractalman, that doesn't make any sense to me. Lol, so they spammed a lot, and changed their armatar... but that would make them lose it!

So yeah, it's those special armatars made by normies. Any idea when the next contest is coming?

When AG got a new armatar artist a while back, two sample armatars (The legionnaire and the five-headed pyrohydra) were added to the zero AP armatar pool to show the new artist's work. They were then removed and added with the rest of the new set. Some have kept these armatars the same way you keep outdated holiday armatars.
