Alright, well here's how the adjective contest will work:
-I will give you a boring, dull sentence, with awful adjectives
-You will attempt to enhance the sentence
-I will judge the best enhanced sentence, and award the winner a cookie of their choice
Got all that? Great.
Now, here are the rules:
-The enhanced sentence must follow the original sentence. For example, if the original sentence was "The sky was blue", you cannot say "The house was white-washed, but the paint was peeling, and termites bit at the rotting cedar steps", because the house description has nothing to do with the sky
-Nothing inappropriate
-It's OK if different people paint a different picture with their words, but it has to follow the original sentence.
Here's your starter:
The roof is blue.
Deadline is tomorrow. Good luck folks!

Wow.

I facepalm every time I look at this thread lately.

I'm sorry, but when did he insult you? By giving you an award that related the "Feeling," as in the decaying flesh and the black and blue parts of the werewolves, named the "Ouch Award?"

Take it easy. He said nothing offensive and you're making a big deal of it.

Orite, entry... after I get back from my Rangers game.

Which is exactly why I said temperamental >>.>>

TSL_3 this didn't even concern you, but since you feel like butting in...there. I just erased you.

TSL3. Not TSL_3.

And yes, this does concern me. This is my forum, and I am on it far more than you. This is my section, and I feel at home here. And lastly this is my thread, because a good friend of mine made it, and you are taking offense to a simple award describing his reaction.

And before you get technical, no, none of that is literally mine. I just feel a sense of ownership on it, as any forum frequenter would when they're on as much as me.

Being a forum frequenter gives the right to defend the forum, and being a friend gives the right to defend the friend. But neither being a frequenter or being a friend gives the right to be rude and insulting to others by calling them names like tempermental. I AM NOT TEMPERMENTAL!!! Sheesh!

And a misunderstanding that led to you quitting a contest and apparently getting your feelings hurt doesn't give you the right to insult people, either.

Temperamental isn't a name . . . and it isn't necessarily an insult either . . . .

I really don't get why you're so angry. You just misinterpreted the title of the award, and now you reject the truth of it. You're acting almost like you wanted the Ouch award to be an insult, even when it wasn't.

people who make fun and don't follow the rules. You should enter your own stuff Mr. Periwinkle, and see how bad of a writer you really are.
YOUR A JERK!!

Insults. Those are real insults. Bad writer? Jerk? You misinterpreted the award title, and you think you can go around insulting people for nothing, and continue even when I explain it to you? That's not fair at all.
Just so you all know, if you want to join, get your submissions in, lickety-split, because I'm about to judge. Type, Forrest, type!

The enormous, fungi like cloud was fading opaque grey-blue color. It was flying through the sky like a large, snarling turtle trying to climb a tall, porous mountain. When I first saw this monstrosity, I gazed in awe at its beauty, and started to reach for my 18 mega pixel Sony Handy Cam, but after a while, I realized that it was just another, puffy cloud.

Above the yonder, lies a graceful cloud.
It's pelt bursting and colours all aluring.
Gently it drifts to the great beyond.
Never staying to form it's Hearth.

by Rysin

The cloud in the sky, it floats with ease, not knowing its destination, not knowing it's end. It is a lovely white, fluffy cloud in the sky, it has two, little, wings on it's side, as if it were flying. It was perfectly circular, with it's middle looking empty.

Oh...*ultimate facepalm/headesk*
Rysin, you typo'd. Methinks it's 100 AP, not 1000?
Tussle, Manta, better luck next time. You'll probably stand a better chance of getting a medal if you actually enter XP
Thanks for standing up for me, guys.
Also, congratulations to Soul and Rysin, our runners up.
And, last but not least. The new sentence is:
The soda pop was good.
Deadline is tomorrow. Good luck ladies and gentlemen!

AS it slid down my throat, the divine delectability of the soda pop became blazingly apparent to me. Its icy smoothness . . . its addictive tang. It was as though every molecule of the priceless liquid was an epiphany, awakening me to the truths of the Universe. IT transported me to another world, a world where the culinary mastery of the beverage was more apparent than ever - a chain of realization, bygone by bygone, neverending by neverending, all induced from tipping a can. It was better than heaven, better than happiness, better than love, better than sex, better than God, better than itself . . . the indescribable flavor of the soda was fallaciously tasty.

The soda pop was good.

The light brown colored liquid filled my glass. As the liquid poured in, you could hear a slight popping sound, and the ice in glass slowly melted away. I picked up the glass, and put it to my lips, as I took a sip, with a mere touch of the lips, I went into a state of ecstasy. The soothing flavor of vanilla, and cherry mixing, as it slowly ran down my throat. The small, little bubbles, within each sip felt like a explosion of flavor.

I think I failed pretty badly here >_>.

Only the post-game fireworks. Those were PWNSOME. there were pyrotechnic smiley faces and everything. One of my many mottoes is "Major league baseball is very boring without steroids."

However, I walked around the stadium 4 1/2 times (and burned about 900 calories >_&gt, saw one of my close friends and my ex, and ate nachos.

And discovered how to use a bendy straw as a woodwind instrument. I'm actually not that bad for a beginner. XD

Rangers won, btw.

Your ex? Not good. Calorie burning? Good. Close friend? Good.
