Final Fantasy Tactics, but of course I'm talking about the REAL Tactics on the PSX. The kiddish, diluted tactics on the GBA and DS are horrible. The men you have on Tactics are full characters, having equipment, a fuller range of stats, and could change into any job if they wanted to. If they fall in battle, you have 3 turns to either save them or win the battle before they die.
Fire Emblem, what do you get? A large amount of characters to play with, yes, but Fire Emblem is like army vs. army, while Tactics is like a small group of champions against everything. They could only have weapons, and even more restricted, since they could only equip weapons only they can use, which are either swords, lances, or axes, nothing in between. If they fall in battle, they die, nothing simpler than that. Major, MAJOR flaw in that game.
Final Fantasy Tactics wins. But here's something to make it even better: Armor, Spells, Skills, Monster allies, Summoning, and longer storyline. I rest my case.
I've never played Fire Emblem, but Final Fantasy Tactics on the original Playstation is, to this day, on my list of favorite games. So I'm going to go ahead and say that one. It has a level of detail that most modern games don't even begin to touch. You can spend hours building a perfect party by matching zodiac signs and finding those with the highest brave. You can do side quests to unlock hidden characters (like Cloud). And the many classes alone will give even the most skilled player hours upon hours of gameplay.
never really played fire emblem, but used the guys from it in smash bros, soooo i cant really choose, i have seen fire emblem gameplay and i think it looks better then FFT, so im gonna have to say Fire Emblem
if u play the fft on original ps once you get the gerimonl sculptuers read it, its story of that book and the past is almost as good as the actual fft story plus fire emblem sucks compared to fft, who ever even tried to compare the two is an idiot i rest my case
i "looooove" when people say marth, roy and Ike are awsome, then you know that they have never played fire emblem. Ike on path to radience sucks for a while, then gets good. On radiant dawn he is beast the whole time. Roy is good on his FE game. But Marth if youve played shadow dragon then you would know Marth is HORRIBLE. But overall i definitly like fire emblem more. tactics isnt as fun to me.
Final Fantasy Tactics. Its just awesome. And A2 has lots of replay value. Plus,Master Monk. You DO NOT get more epic then Bangga kicking the **** out of you with STICKS.
