This is too cool and advanced for the Tavern, lol.

The Irukandji is the most venomous jellyfish in the world. If you're stung, you'll die within 30 minutes. You can barely feel the sting, if at all, and it injects an extremely small amount of venom.

I hate it when youa re swimming int he sea and after a like 10-15 minutes you get bored and stiuck your head under the water to see what is down there and you see loads of jellyfish... you know you haven't been stung since you got in the water but you still get out XD

Freakenstein, it does kill you in about 30 minutes if you aren't treated. You slip into cardiac arrest. At least that's what the Science Channel said . . . twice . . . .

There are the giant ones that are larger than humans, then there are those that are smaller than a pinky nail. Which one is scarier? Lol

The pinky nail one? xD Usually smaller animals that have venom or poison or whatever cause more damage then others.

By the way, it doesn't cause death

It certainly does cause death if not treated..

I made some research and I found that there have only been 2 reported deaths caused by the Irukandji jellyfish. But probably many deaths have been wrongly diagnosed because of the creature's size.

Its cause the symptoms are very noticeable so people get treatment right away.

Its cause the symptoms are very noticeable so people get treatment right away.

Exactly, if we consider that some of the symptoms are headache, backache, muscle pains, chest and abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, sweating, anxiety, hypertension, tachycardia and pulmonary edema.

Because the Jellyfish is very small, and the venom is only injected through the tips of the nematocysts, the sting may barely be noticed at first. It has been described as feeling like little more than a mosquito bite. So many do not know that the Irukandji Jellyfish caused all this.

Yet says:

is seldom fatal, but is nevertheless extremely distressing and painful.

is seldom fatal

True, because it can be cured, but if you do not go to an hospital it can be lethal.

the Irukandji are one of the scariest things in my opionion due to being so small u cant notice them and you dont feel the sting so you wouldnt know your dying until its too late. they're like mousquitoes with malaria that kills u insanely fast
