"One of the most popular nations for outsourcing is India, which is recording double-digit growth in revenues from IT services, which are expected to reach $57 billion in 2008, according to a joint study by McKinsey & Co. and Nasscom, an Indian software association. Based on a U.S. model of spending 5% to 7% of the IT budget on security, and with the IT budget consuming 15% of a service company's revenue, India should be ramping up to spend $450 to $600 million on information security and assurance by 2008. Do I really need to be doing this? Call customer services for pretty much any large corporation, and more often than not you'll be speaking to someone in Bangalore.
Germany *waves fist* "two world wars and one world cup doo dah-doo dah" XD Ok obvious exceptions aside Germany are quite good....
The worst country for me is Columbia,,, my geography teacher at school loved the place and met his wife there and had a poster that stated "COLOMBIA more than just DRUGS" :O not much more plus it has a very high murder rate.

Firstly I was paraphrasing so I didn't take the whole qoute but I meant prove
India is nothing but cheap outsourcing
Which of course you can't do some research into the economy, I was quite offended by your post.
Im offended because Im Indian and Im studying business /economics.
That's ridiculous. So because I'm British I should be offended by someone who claims Britain is nothing but financial services?
Also, since you study economics/business, you should be aware how vastly outsourcing has grown and is set to continue to grow in India over the next decade because of cheap labour.
The IT industry alone is a massive form of outsourcing, India produces some of the most skilled workers in this field. As for manufactured goods, you have a hell of a lot of these too, and there's no sign of any decrease.
Im not saying there isnt outsourcing I just have a problem with misleading exagerations like
India is nothing but outsourcing
Im offended because my family has worked in agriculture and other industrys that are helping its economy and you seem to think its ok to imply Indias only industry is outsourcing which demeans and in a way discredits pretty much every other industry in India.
If you choose to be offended, that's your business. I for one stick by my view. It's not exactly misleading either. Of course there are other industries, but outsourcing is by far the most important reason for India's growth and accounts for a massive part of the economy.
