When *200,000 users hit, *163,897 of them had 10 AP or lower. When *300,000 users hit, *247,117 of them had 9 AP or lower.
Now to me, this is some pretty convincing evidence that either: 1. The ranking system is somehow flawed 2. There is a serious amount of space being taken up by inactive accounts.

As for the "ghost accounts" why do they bother you so much? Did any of you read why the sites keep accounts around?
they take space, correlation with higher #s and the lag before optimization.
A quota would piss a lot of people off, because a lot of traffic is generated through AG exclusive content. They just want something that they can't have on other sites.
Never getting a response doesn't make it okay. Whether anyone sees or not, it's pointless.
That's not the point. The point is is that they are completely inactive. 250,000 accounts are completely abandoned. There is no way in hell we have that many active users of AG, or we would never get through. The bandwidth probably can't even hold that much.

do you come here to play flash games, converse in the forums, or marvel at how many people there are? it'd be a slap in the face if a newcomer found out all those were inactive.
