I really hated halo ODST ... why so many brutes??? Where the hell were the shangeili (the big ones in Combat evolved) the story was also lame...me and my friend finished it in legendary in 3 hours maybe less...waste of money.
Anyways Halo is a good franchise but after Halo 3 ..things got way of "topic"

I actually enjoyed playing ODST. Might be because I'm not a "hardcore" FPS guy (nor would I want to be).
Halo is a great series. I've only played ODST and Halo 3, but I think that's already enough for me. Making your own maps and custom games are what really made me like Halo 3. I'm sure Halo:Reach will be like Halo 3, but with jet-packs and improved graphics. Bungie needs to make a new game series. Srsly.
You gotta play Combat Evolved or you're missing half the entire series fun.
Anyways, personally, I like Halo. I like Call of Duty. I like Battlefield. It just cracks me up when people never take a game at face value. It's just a game, you don't need an awesome storyline or excellent graphics. They help, but just enjoy the game. This applies to all games.
So, Halo is good. I've played CE, 2, and 3. Never played ODST or whatever the RTS was. I'm going to get Reach though. Hopefully it won't disappoint.
Halo is the life line of mw2 with out halo there would be no mw2 just look at the lobby and gameplay halo was and always be a bad ass game when blackops comes out it most likely be #1 for the time being Because on the release of reach mw2 will be blow out of the water and those who want to argue that mw2 just did the halo thing better i agree with you 100% i love both games but halo has forge so suck on that you mw2 trolls

Because, during ODST, the Covenent started getting rid of the Elites, but not many of them were joining the Humans. If they had elites it would mess up the Halo storyline.
