It was one of the first games that blended RPG and FPS and did it well. Also, it had a good story for its time.

Ahh I see. Well, as we're on the subject of great FPSs, it is pretty much fact that Goldeneye on the N64 was the greatest game of all time.

Widely held opinion, not fact

It's great, though. Only problem is that it's starting to show its age, but it doesn't matter in the overall quality of it.

In this era of next gen gaming, the fact it can still (kind of) hold its own is a feat in itself.

I was so disappointed when they decided not to put it on arcade.

I know how to fly a dumpster in Halo 3. No joke, swear on my grave.

ODST 4 ever

Halo is awesome. it was just a plain awesome idea and i love all of the glitches and tricks in the game. it is my favorite series of games. i played ODST too. it is even tighter than the other ones. but you die quicker and can't dual wield='(. but it is still plain awesome. plus it dominated youtube and the gaming world when it came out. halo rocks. final point. no offense to anyone but i think that you have no taste if you don't like halo. if you haven't played it, play it. it rocks.

Does any of you know Halo Reach?

i was dissapointed in halo 3 and ODST looks the same so i think i'll pass on buying it. If ODST is anything like Halo 2, however, then i'll go out and buy it right now.
