looking for someone who won't just yell in my virtual ear about how awesome this is, but i have a question: Should i get Halo Wars or Halo:Reach, i really like RTS's but i'm not sure i can trust the controller for it (seeing as most RTS's are for computer)
I have them both and to be honest Halo Wars was cool and all but it didn't last as long as Reach did in re-playability. It's still a good game though, not sure if many people still play online though, haven't checked in a while. BTW controller wasn't that bad since it was built from the ground up for the controller, but obviously it's still not as good as a mouse and keyboard. The SP missions are varied and quite fun as well.
well my main problem would be, would i be able to address a battle and move units with the precision of the mouse & keyboard or will i have to get used to it
also reach seems pretty awesome, so far those are the only two i haven't played

No it's not as good and it will take some getting used to. They do have a tutorial in the game that helps with this but no its not as precise as say Starcraft.
Reach is just an overall great game and I know for a fact it has a huge community of players and always will.

i was gonna say Total War but same thing, well i'll just have to try it out myself
also whaddya think chief is landing on in Halo 4, i'm guessing a forerunner world, even though they're probably not there, maybe a lot more of the AI and whatnot, and maybe even forerunner infection forms

I'm just guessing here, but if you have read the book Ghosts of Onyx you might think it is the shield world the spartan III's are stuck on. Or maybe it could be where the forerunners are hiding in a different dimension to escape the ring blasts, I don't really know just coughing up ideas.
unlikely, unless some managed to make it to a shieldworld
also i doubt the Covenant is our ally, maybe the Arbiter's forces (Sangheili and Unggoy) but i doubt the brutes will suddenly love us, ditto for jackals, drones and whatnot
