they did cut out some important characters like tom bombadil and glorfindel, but they may be included in the hobbit movie.

It was ok in my opinion, although it did slightly differ from the book.

one hell of a trilogy

I've read the books and I've seen the films and I would say that for the most part they did a pretty good job of following them, thankfully cutting out a lot of the filler in between. Overall I really like LOTR.

Christopher lee was fantastic as saraman he really bought the character to life whats your favouraite actor/character?

Xhristopher Lee was awesome, among with almost everyone else.

My favorite is Boromir. He was a good man doing everything he could to protect his peoplee (the people of Gondor) but he let the ring get to him and he attacked Frodo. Boromir did prove himself good again after he gave his life trying to defend Merry and Pippin. Sean Bean nailed him, and his death scene just really gets to me *sobs*

My favorite character is Sauron. His helmet is awesome! But, you know who's helmet is even BETTER......

brilliant trilogy, movies are epic

One of the best triogys made...Followed the book rather well,was not disappointed...

The movies were all well done, and are really good.

movies were pretty good, effects and stuff. very dramatic. but i also LOVED the books. beautiful imagary.
