What do you think of the trilogy, was it good or bad and did it compare to the books. Personally I love the trilogy whats your opinion.

Loved Lord of the Rings. Wish this site would still be called "Gondor Games" and my username "Gondor Knight" :P.

And yes, JK Rowling did copy some aspects.

I liked the books of "The Return of The King" and "The Sillmarillion".
The movies the best is the one of Return of the King.

I know Im going off subject a little but does anyone have a favorite scene/quote from the movie or books. Mine is in the extended edition version when saruman gets killed.

One of my favorite chapters was "Fog on the Barrow-downs", it is a shame that Tom and the barrow-wights couldn't fit into the movies, but I also understand.

The Hobbit book was the best want to see the movie when it comes out so badly. Thought Return of the King was the best movie.

Yeah, he dies in the shire, after faling stabbing Frodo, he is stabbed by Grima and dies, his spirit flies away as he is a maia like Sauron and cant die and his body turns to ashes, Grima is killed by hobbit archers.
