It is said that Americans are getting smarter by generation do you think that is true or a load of crap?
I think Americans are being taught more because the world knows more each year and therefore they are more intelligent. So America is just in line with the rest of the developed world.
However if you look at the whole world, and include underdeveloped countries, humanity in general is decreasing in intelligence.
It could be true, after all, they raise the public school standards each year.
The United States has some of the WORST public school systems in the world...
BS. The freshmen at my school are stupid. They brought down our school's API grade.

Which brings me to my next point:
Our IQ's may or may not be getting better, but I can tell you this right now: Every time I drive on the freeway, I have to risk my life because people are being suicidal. This is because they are extremely oblivious, and have no common sense on how to drive.
I am a sophomore. But I'm serious. They are stupid. Half of them can ride those bikes made for 6 years olds, and crash into me. They always want to start a fight with me even though I'm like a foot taller than them. And half their conversations are "hey nig***! what did you did you get on the test? "a 50% motherf*****! what did you get?" "a 35%! you're a fail of a nerd!"

"Hey dude do you like touching other men?" "I have herpes cancer!" "Hey everyone I'm White!"
This is the type of stuff I have to hear on the bus everyday. I would like to think we are getting smarter...but seriously the lack of social skill and common sense in these people is almost horrifying.
