It opens with the team sitting around a campfire. Suddenly, there's a large, nearby explosion. Shouting figures appear and charge the quartet. Helicopters fly overhead, dropping more troops. Machine gun fire is heard, and roald flys through the air, bl oody. Felicity, Sonny, and Veradux draw their weapons, but there is a high pitched noise and they slump to the ground.
Zone 1 - Omicron Theta The Reaserch Facility
Sonny wakes up, tied to an operating table. He rips through his bonds, grabs a broken pipe, and sprints out of the door as alarms sound. For the first few battles against Doctors (read - weak priests) and ZPCI grunts ( read - prisonguards with Fire attacks) Sonny fights alone. He finds Veradux, also fighting his way through, and they go on together. Eventually, they make it to the outside of the building, only to discover that they are in some sort of flying building, many hundreds of metres up in the air. The building is vaguely donut shaped, and is spinning round a beam of light... Sonny and Veradux continue up the facility, until they reach the top by crawling through ventilation ducts. They overhear the Ambassador talking below them, and bust through the ceiling. They are thrashed by the Ambassadir and his guards, and only just escape... With the ambassador hot on their heels, they run up to the top, sealing the door behind them. They are now in a large room filled with tanks filled with grey fluid. Inside the tanks are people with brilliant white skin. At the back of the room, there are two generators with wires on the floor connecting them. Standing on the wires is a familiar face... Felicity. However, she has the chalky skin too, and it becomes clear she is a 'Twisted Experiment'. See the 'Create your own Enemy' thread for details. After curing Felicity, who collapses unconcious, Sonny has a flashback.
He is inside a tank. The tank is filled with blue liquid. Louis is standing outside the tank. Louis speaks. "I wonder if you can hear me, Sonny. After your mother died... I promised I would bring one of you back. And I did! Just a few more days and your neurones will be fully restructured. It was lucky that my contact in Hew managed to send all his research to me before Boris Livingstone shut his operation down... It was also lucky I found this!" Louis waves a tape in front of the tank. "So many secrets... the plague could have been cured by now if I'd been allowed to keep working at the Gate. Still, I learned enough to restructure the virus... to restore the dead! But that is not the sum of my research... this tape contains the secrets of how to open the Gate. Once I decode that, I shall be famous! My name will trumpeted to the skies! Louis O'Connell! A whole new universe!"
The flashback fades and Sonny wakes up in the present...
Maybe the seed is the virus that turned them into zombies- also turned animals into zombies like in z4- gonna be used on the *still human* rioters. Sonny's gonna have to fight them all. Roald still dies, tho. furniture accident. (opens a foreigner furniture store for people with bad accents?) Or, what would give me even greater pleasure, he turns into zombie and you beat the crap outta him. Fun!
And btw, I think Louis had a plan to revive zombies and make them partly human again. There's Sonny, Vera, and Felicity. The fourth experiment is really powerful, has cool red skin (they all have different colors and red would be sick), and is the one leaving blood trails and it's gonna have to be swayed between evil ZPCI trying to capture it and re-seed him and sonny's team, who will save the peeps from zpci and the zombies. If roald MUST live, he finds the cure in research. Maybe sonny will become human eventually and he will use different moves- like the ones roald or zpci has
Cool idea, Zarco. I already had an idea for the blood trails, (Kancer) but I'll think about the ultimate Zombie... Maybe the ZPCI took some DNA from Sonny or something. Oh crap, I just realised I have to work the Baron in somewhere. I mean, where's a character who says: "You Scratchy Bitc*" gonna fit into my epic tale of love, paralell worlds and malevolent deitys...
totally. I think it would be cool for the baron to join you when you beat him, or to fight w/ him in a paladin-esque fight (1 time thing vs extreme enemy that only he can beat)
The baron sould totally be back. Since it was it sonny 1 and 2, i think it should be in sonny 3. And i think the blood trail is awesome. So before sonny woke up in the place where he lost the tape, wait... maybe Sonny is the ultimate zombie!! He does not attack human because it was Louis who revived him, The ZPCI knows that and need his DNA to create a even more power zombie which then needs the "seed"
Baron could cast a weaker deep burning on enemy (once he's with you) when they have no focus. Or a dumbed down tick tock, dark echoes, or electric storm... he could be really good and strong.
Sonny could be the ultimate zombie, too. Cool idea- he is special compared to the other ones i guess...
In the end, there could be a final boss gauntlet type of thing where you have to beat the ambassador, the seed, and the ultimate zombie or something like that all in a run. No shop or save in between and maybe not even heal... hmm.
Not even heal?? Well what if the umm ambassador had this buff which can umm 1 kit kill? Or maybe takes out 75% of you life??? With no heal i guess it would be impossible...
oh a louis game would be cool- or sonny before the ship... yeah he has to fight the disease as he lvls up- DoT and other things plague him but the disease opens up new abilities- he could even have internal battles which are you vs. a diseased you
@ryonic- the final bosses would be long and tough, but w/out heal in between they would have to be balanced. Also, you can heal using abilities and vera during, so maintaining high hp during the battles is equally important to killing the enemy.
I just thought of a new game mode/battle type based on the final boss idea- survival. Every once in a while, a new enemy is summoned to the field. This gets more rapid and the enemies constantly get stronger. When none are on the field, you have free turns to heal and buff. You see how many turns you last and how many guys you kill before you die, compiled into a final score to compare and set up leaderboards.
