It opens with the team sitting around a campfire. Suddenly, there's a large, nearby explosion. Shouting figures appear and charge the quartet. Helicopters fly overhead, dropping more troops. Machine gun fire is heard, and roald flys through the air, bl oody. Felicity, Sonny, and Veradux draw their weapons, but there is a high pitched noise and they slump to the ground.
Zone 1 - Omicron Theta The Reaserch Facility
Sonny wakes up, tied to an operating table. He rips through his bonds, grabs a broken pipe, and sprints out of the door as alarms sound. For the first few battles against Doctors (read - weak priests) and ZPCI grunts ( read - prisonguards with Fire attacks) Sonny fights alone. He finds Veradux, also fighting his way through, and they go on together. Eventually, they make it to the outside of the building, only to discover that they are in some sort of flying building, many hundreds of metres up in the air. The building is vaguely donut shaped, and is spinning round a beam of light... Sonny and Veradux continue up the facility, until they reach the top by crawling through ventilation ducts. They overhear the Ambassador talking below them, and bust through the ceiling. They are thrashed by the Ambassadir and his guards, and only just escape... With the ambassador hot on their heels, they run up to the top, sealing the door behind them. They are now in a large room filled with tanks filled with grey fluid. Inside the tanks are people with brilliant white skin. At the back of the room, there are two generators with wires on the floor connecting them. Standing on the wires is a familiar face... Felicity. However, she has the chalky skin too, and it becomes clear she is a 'Twisted Experiment'. See the 'Create your own Enemy' thread for details. After curing Felicity, who collapses unconcious, Sonny has a flashback.
He is inside a tank. The tank is filled with blue liquid. Louis is standing outside the tank. Louis speaks. "I wonder if you can hear me, Sonny. After your mother died... I promised I would bring one of you back. And I did! Just a few more days and your neurones will be fully restructured. It was lucky that my contact in Hew managed to send all his research to me before Boris Livingstone shut his operation down... It was also lucky I found this!" Louis waves a tape in front of the tank. "So many secrets... the plague could have been cured by now if I'd been allowed to keep working at the Gate. Still, I learned enough to restructure the virus... to restore the dead! But that is not the sum of my research... this tape contains the secrets of how to open the Gate. Once I decode that, I shall be famous! My name will trumpeted to the skies! Louis O'Connell! A whole new universe!"
The flashback fades and Sonny wakes up in the present...
cool idea. It would also give exp, a new training mode. I was also thinking of a battle against a summoner or something, you have to last 50 turns or kill 10 enemies to win, for example.
Also, you can heal using abilities and vera during
OHH!!! So thats what you meant. I thought you meant that you can not heal in battles, that'd be really hard. Not healing after battle? Well, as a boss level i think thats fair
final boss gauntlet means a straight run of boss fights with no breaks in the middle- like for action and adventure types usually tho. I was saying before that its a cool idea for sonny 3.
Sonny and Veradux wake up in a large, grassy field. In the sky, three moons float in the sky. Wondering where they are, they walk across the large fields, past flocks of strange sheep like animals. They battle a few predators (read: Antagonists), and soon they see lights in the distance. They arrive in a large city, constructed of glass and steel in such a way that it looks a giant frosted mirror. They encounter Steam Guards (robots) and Mirror Wraiths (carbon copies of you and Veradux). The city seems to be completely deserted⦠until an enormous Liquid Metal Spider!!!!!!!!!!! attacks them. Once they are nearly beaten, and if they got the spider down to less than 1/20 health, there is an enormous pulse of energy. The spider is destroyed, and a figure descends from the heavensâ¦.
Zone 4 - Gretchi The Sewers
Sonny and Felicity wake up at the bottom of the shaft. They pick up there weapons, and hurry down a tunnel. They see blood tracks again, and they become more and more frequent as they journey down the slime encrusted tunnel. Enemies include Tunnel Beasts and The Infected (Poison Zombies). After a while, they hear an insane cackle. In a chamber, they find⦠Baron Brixius! After a brief fight, he goes crazy, and starts mutating into a horrible creature⦠The zone boss! Kancer! See âCreate your own Enemyâ. After a while, they emerge from the tunnel and find themselves in a devastated Hewâ¦
