Religions don't have nuclear weapons - countries do. It will ultimately be political differences that lead to nuclear war. I don't even think you could make the argument that religious differences lead to political differences. People just have plenty of other things to fight about. Also, it's not like some group is just going to nuke someone else just right out of the blue. There will be a lead up to it, likely involving a land war. If that sort of thing is going to happen...
To start a war an excuse is always needed, some times (nowadays rarely) may be religious, these excuses are needed to hide the real and most important causes of every war, economic reasons.

Yes Though many countries have a religion either controlling them or seeking to control them.
Iran is controlled by religion, it's a theocratic state, but at least for now they don't have weapons and probably they will not use them for religious purposes when/if they will have.
The only countries that currently have nukes, will most likely have a war not because of religion, but because of power, or political difference, but then again, humans are brainwashed little robots, we could be able to do anything.
