I don't really understand why people get mad about versuses threads who really cares if people want to compare people or things to each once again it's freedom of speech and if you don't like it just don't respond or even go into "Versuses Topics".

You're spelling of versus is making my head hurt >>.<<'

I never get mad at them. I just get annoyed. It's spam when they do that, because it's been made SOOOOO many times.

None of these definitions of spam is what you think and anyway's most repeated topics are deleted.

You're actually quite wrong. Repeated ARE spam in the fact that when the person knows that they are duping it, they are spamming.

This isn't your average forum. Spam is actually a recognized rule here. Threads are rarely deleted. VERY rarely.

Sorry meant locked threads. But most of the time I don't think the person will be making the exact same thread over and over again look at the creators most of them averagely aren't the same people.

In my time here (about 8 or 9 months), I've seen so many unlocked dupe threads that if I had a penny for every one I've seen, I'd have several dollars.

NEVER count on the mods for anything. While they do their job most of the time, there is all to often none on. There are only 3 active ones right now. NoName, Strop, and Zophia.

So they don't lock things like that. This is the section that is never patrolled. When dupes appear, they are only realized several days later.

Hmm I'm not entirely sure on:

Can you show some examples on this with clarification from mods? I'm also not sure on this:

how did you come up with your name - thrice
favorite car? - LOADS
Xbox vs Ps3 vs Wii - LOADS (before sticky)

why vs? why debate? to see other's side (hopefully).

Sounds like common sense but people are still annoyed or upset at Vs threads and I was hoping they would answer logically why

i'll retort the way you did. who?

'eople' (no matter how stereotypical) can get mad at just about anything. heated discussions die down or a mod intervenes.

what do you propose we do about the Bad Upsetting VS Threads?

Ya but they just go into another Vs thread to complain.

Not complain or ignore them if you don't like them. And I personaly like the Vs threads well at least looking at what people say in them.

proof?

if you have a problem with a user confront them about it; problem persists/goes haywire get a mod or other higher authority.

But aren't active per-say. Boidy comes on a lot, but only off and on. No real pattern.

NEVER count on the mods for anything.

Because they're often times unreliable. When they are reliable they rock, when they aren't, you have to deal with stuff on your own.

You have to directly contact them for most things, and that only has a 50/50 chance of really working, unless they are specifically looking for you.

Graham cracker has the rest pretty dam* accurate.

Along with what Graham said with the threads being full of spam, the forums need to be diverse. Meaning, we can't have 15 threads of the same format (vs, rate the _____ above) going at the same time. That's usually what spurs mods to ban the format.
