so what do you guys think about abortion? Basically what people say justify it is that the fetus "isn't human," it's an animal. The same people, however also say that we need to save the whales and ban hunting? so what's it gonna be guys? (I believe That a baby is a human from conception)
i'm with abortion but only if the parents wouldn't be able to support the child, but the idiots who need an abortion shoulda used condoms anyway.
Unfortunately it isn't that simple. Contraceptives aren't 100% and there are other cases such as rape or the pregnancy puts the mothers life at risk.
There is no easy answer to this. It's a horrible decision to make, but having it legal allows the mother the abortion preformed in the safest manner possible.
To make it illegal (which it was at one point) People who feel that desperate will go to have "back ally abortions" that puts everyone involved at risk often resulting in serious infections or even death for the mother.
Then what are humans, fungi? Believe me, we're animals.
If it were up to me, I would keep abortions legal. However, I feel like abortion is only the right thing to do under certain circumstances. Rape, baby will be born unhealthy and probably die, mother's life is at risk, and other reasons.

What does the mother gain from the pregnancy? Nothing. She actually has to work harder. When an organism benefits off another organism while that organism is being harmed, it is called Parasitism.
When an organism benefits off an organism that isn't being harmed not benefited, it is called Commensalism.
I don't exactly agree with abortion, but in some cases I can see why it would be accepted.

I tried to make that argument once. It was a failure. A parasite has to be a different species than it's host.

Once again, they are not different species so you can't classify the relationship like this.

Abortion should be legal in cases of:rape, broken condoms, failed birth control, and inability to support the child (financially + emotionally)
In Canada, the Minister of Child Services should ensure that special permission to abort is given.
If the child was conceived due to plain ol' lack of using ANY birth control, etc. And the couple has the financial means to support the child, along with the expectation that the relationship will continue (to avoide broken families), then the child should live.
There, I just solved the problem. Was it so hard?
