As we all know most of the junk we buy in America was "made in China." Having this lowers the price of that product because in China they pay workers close to nothing. At the same time many of the American "low wage working class" or aka uneducated trash people, complain that they would have a job if more of our crap was made here. Truth is most peole don't care where the product was made, just how much does it cost. Also if our education system was not so poor and people would study for a test in college more than 10 minutes, then America would not have all these idiots walking around.
whats wrong with china? chinese made stuff is the reason why the american economy grows, for those of you who dont know the smiley curve[url=http://jamesfallows.theatlantic.com/archives/2007/08/more_on_the_smiley_curve_china.php](china makes apple takes) if anything people should be appalled by america who takes advantage of these workers.
close to nothing
this close to nothing is relative, if you were good at economics and math you would understand that not only is the standard of living lower in china, (less money to buy stuff) but also 1 USD is worth 6 YMB so ofcourse if you were paid 20 YMB an hour would seem like its nothing in america, but 20 YMB buys a worker breakfast lunch and dinner with a lot left over.

chinese economy*.
buying products made in china pay a handful of already-hugely-rich US workers. buying products made in the US pay thousands of middle class and lower class US workers.
The US economy does not grow at higher rates when more companies operate in China.

You need proof to use exact numbers.
Chinese workers do NOT get payed much at all. When people say they get payed 10 cents/hr (just an example), they do not mean 10 YMB cents, they mean 10 US cents -- which is why the word "cents" is used. Granted, their economy is still much smaller than ours, so their dollar is worth less, but relatively they still get payed much less than us.
Everything is made in China. They overflowed Balkans with workers and cheap low-quality merchandise. Where I study they even have their organized public transports and shopping malls. "Market colonizing".
I went to check the new york exchange, good fight kid.

of course they don't, if you change the rate of exchange (set at around 1USD to 6YMB) minimum wage in the US would be 50 some YMB an hour. I know for a fact after I visited china 2 years ago, that their workers in a somewhat ok sweat shop environment get paid 1-2 USD an hour America exploits this fact that there is no minimum wage in china, therefore they do not see the need to pay their employees that much.
they dont need to be paid as much because they need less to buy the same amount of stuff to survive.
Obviously you havent been to china within the past few years, because the chinese government chose to reform the working standards, only to improve it by a little. you sir (german3945) need to study on your facts, because they are outdated. case and point.
"Made In CHINA" IS OK,do you want "DIY","homemade" or MADE IN THE TOILET OF YOUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR'S FRIENDS WHO SHIPPED IT OVER IN THE FLYING DUTCHMAN WHILE THROWING THEIR DOG'S POO INTO OUTER SPACE WITH AN ULTRA-POWERED SPACE CANNON"
though, yeah, when my cousin from china decided to live in the usa,(i dont know how to say it,it's like becoming a PR),he got an american flag,he realised he did not really leave his country cos at the bottom on the flag,it said:MADE IN CHINA
and, yeah,i agree that MADE IN CHINA isnt the best thing, all my chinese made gundam lay in ruin, and not because of a missile attack, seeing MADE IN JAPAN or MADE IN KOREA sounds better

Exchange rate doesn't only exchange salaries, it's used as gage of an economy. It applies to the entire situation, not just the income.
Exchange rate is saying that if they were in our economy, they would literally make 1-2 dollars an hour. The ratio of pay between the average factory worker in China to minimum wage in the US is 2:7.5 It's not as literally as bad as that, and the real difference is lower than that, but they still live with a lower standard of living.

It would change nothing. ---------------------------------- Whether they get payed a fourth as much or half as much as US'ans, it stimulates the US economy more and quicker when buying US-made goods.
When the costs are high you produce less, producing less goods very often leads to less profit + the human needs are nowadays enormous so the most efficient way to produce/earn more is to go in a country were the factors of production are cheaper. Probably the most important productive input is labor, that means that the industries prefer to be in places where the wages are quite low. In this way the products have lower production costs which leads to higher profit margin. Also usually in such countries there is high labor productivity, but productivity is related to efficiency and when a company is efficient is also effective. Finally an effective company fulfills many of its goals and when a company fulfills it's goals can expand and has more financial capital available for investments.
