Quote from Charles Darwin: "To suppose that the eye, with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree."

Division of the sexes makes the theory of evolution even more perposterous. Simple life forms do not have male and female genders. If we evolved from such creatures there is no way that suddenly a human could only reproduce with half of the rest of its race. It would make no sense whatsoever.

No missing links have ever been found, but plenty have been fabricated. Why have certain scientists gone so far as to make such farces seem as fact? Religion. How can you suddenly mistake a pig bone for a man's, honestly.

I know you didn't mean this for any kind of accuracy. With that said even as an estimate it's way off. Interestingly enough evidence suggests we were not the first species to have religion. Neanderthal was. Neanderthal first appeared around 600,000 years ago. There is evidence they took part in ceremonial burials suggesting of religion inclinations.

That's actually very interesting. If there is evidence for it, shouldn't it debunk the Christian view of how old the world is?

Like I said there is evidence of such ritualism from neanderthal.

There is far more then this disproving the Creationist mindset of a young Earth, but when did little things like facts matter to them?

Well I know that, but they're using words like "only a theory" too much.

If there is actual evidence of religion 600,000 years ago, (which I find it hard to think they have actual evidence) that would be a major breakthrough.

That's the language of science.

This covers why "only a theory" is used so much pretty well.
Evolution Is Only A Theory - Richard Dawkins @ Pop!Tech (3)

This is one of the differences between religion and science. Religion says they KNOW something to be true even if they don't and science knows they don't know it's true, they just have lots of evidence and facts to make it very, very plausible.

i dont believe that god put adam and eve on the planet, they had kids and made everyone because tecnically everybody in the world would be retarded because if 2 people were the only 2 that means were all related and every mom and dad are really related SOMEHOW. I am american and half of america is retarded -- i do admit it -- thats the only little bit of truth there is behind it, but look at japan! nobody over there is retarded :O they're like einstines but all with black hair

religion is based on faith, without any evidence for it.

science bases knowledge by testing against those things, because the only true way one can know something is true is if one finds that it isn't not true many times.

also, there are some things in science which are absolute truths, laws-- Law of Gravity among others. they are all things we have tested against profusely and never found any single bit of evidence against them, and until we find another world/universe/dimension they will all remain true. another of the laws is the Law of Succesion, which is directly defined/described by the Theory of Evolution.

Also, balerion, Mage pretty much shut down the entire opposing argument presented in the OP a while ago. I dun think much more can be said here :/

Religion answers to the question who created everything.
Science answers to the question how everything was created.

You can still believe in God and in Science and my opinion is that this the best thing you can do.

When you say all the time evolution is incorrect, it's pointless, instead of focusing on saying things which are blatantly wrong, you could just accept the theory and focus on showing that Christians do help and do good things.

The only problem is the how doesn't really require a who.

Very true, but some persons want to take it a step further, the search for answers it's in the human nature.
One day we may have the answers for everything, but some persons will still have questions.

ummmm....lets see....
Religion been here for like 2 million years...
Evolution for like 50 years...
Its like saying living in a cave is better, then living in a house.

Did I not say Im NOT against anyone who belives in God so you shouldnt be against anyone who believes in evolution we are aloud to have an opinion. Any way how do you know how long religon and evolution have been around for.

We're all evolving on a daily basis, Just because you don't wake up with new physical traits does not mean over time we don't evolve. Anyone who doesn't believe we evolve should look up all the information on human height changes over the last 1000-2000 years to start with. Humans are on an average about a foot and a half taller than they were in roman and medieval times.

In evolution What happends when you die???

Are you serious? Really? Evolution doesn't deal with that. It's just a theory of how life changes over time.

You evolve like a pokemon, that's why it's called evolution.
