Thank you for providing an example of the antithesis of the NaNoWriMo spirit.
I had a combative and sarcastic response. It was all typed. Just thought I'd mention, though I have no intention of escalating this when we should all be celebrating.
Well Done Xzeno.
At least someone's congratulating me. It's funny because I congratulated no one. Congrats to you too, KingRyan.
Loving the spiral bound copy sitting on my desk!
Classy!
I'm just at odds at what I used to do before NaNo...
I think I know exactly what you mean. Everything just seems so trivial now. Deadlines are so far away...
For what it's worth, I got to 12,000 xD
Eh, might as well: The worth of your NaNoWriMo experience cannot be measured in word count or timeliness. You should examine what you got out of it. Whether it was learning more about writing novels or more about yourself, you should take what you can. If you figured out what will make you happy in life from this, good for you. If all you got was victory, that could be what you needed right now. If you got nothing, that's OK too. NaNoWriMo is kind of like character development in more ways than one.*
...the cynical side of this is that personal growth is all you can get from NaNoWriMo because your novel is more likely than not unreadable.**
*This sentence is hilarious if you get the triple meaning. **By my artificially high standards.

I will toast the day you cease making this type of remark forever.
