No, but the person whose comment you deleted does. And you lose two points if one of your comments gets deleted.
I don't know exactly what the checkmark does, but I bet that if you check a few boxes and then click on the little trash icon next to any of the checked comments, it will delete every checked comment. But that is just a theory.
Do u know why? You lose 2 points if you delete a comment.
Do you think I care?

That doesn't happen (for me), nor does the trash bin. So my suggestion? Just fix the little things.
The check box is there to mock you. It laughs at you. Check it all you want, there is no point. Why is it there? Does it do anything? How long has it been there? Does it eat away your soul? Are you the only one who can see it? Is it a tool that only the moderators can use? Is it a tool for only the admins? Is it the remains of something that once was? Is it a gateway to paradise where users have full control over what they can do, edit, and create?
Whatever it is, I don't know why it's there. My theory is that each time you check it, the government learns just a little bit more about you; and each time they get enough information on how you live, they plot how they can control you to do their evil deeds.
I can't even delete my own comments. And what is with the check boxes if there is no "Delete Selected Comments" button?
God people are dumb and don't know how to answer your question. The checkmark box is actually used for mods for other things/commands, it's just the checkmark box shows up for us. So it's essentially 100% useless.
As for deleting, it just takes a long time to go into effect before they disappear.
