This is how I imagine a news headline in 2109.

"Today, yet another final fantasy was released, Final Fantasy 20..... thousand."

7 was aweeeeeesome

And guess what, they are all independent of oneanother, with a few recurring characters/character names.

View each of them seperately.

Ive got three of the final fantasy game FF3,FF12 and final fantasy advance tactics. I hated 12 cause the combat system requires no skill and is impossible on the final battle and relies on you simply making one lucky move. FF3 is good but a got bored when i started being told where to go and not how to get there or what to do when i got there. Final fantasy tactics offered a great experience which offered 5 different races and a number of different classes for each. some which needed a specific race for that class as well as proficiency in other classes. Add to that a limit of 24 people in your clan a limit of 6 or 4 on the field and a few rules which change per match and you get a brilliant game which offers you a different battle every time. But yes they have run out of ideas and are just repeating a too old game.

The newest GameInformer has info about FF 14 xD I deff think there are a lot of them. But I dont think its bad. They are all pretty fun and the stories are just like fun. When you talk to other ppl about everything and you actually KNOW about it, it's really cool!

I say yes there really are too many Final Fantasies. First there was Final Fantasy 1 then 2 then 3 and so on. Now its over 12! And they even made that Disogea Disagei Desigia or something I think it was. I mean come on stop making so many! I only played number 1, 2, and 3 other than that I just watch my cousin at parties play the latest Final Fantasy.

I have a question are the Final Fantasy games made in a story like how #2 would continue the story of #1 and #3 would continue the story of #2 and so on?

Final Fantasy Dissidia is actually one of the few games I love. (I love ARPGs, much more than turn-based ones)

I haven't played the other 11 (but 12 is a bit much...)

If you like that Tactics, try the one for the PSX. You'll love this one 3x more

Final Fantasy is like Legend of Zelda, the storylines are all different. The only one that really continued off another was FFX-2. And guess what? that was the worst FF game EVAR X'D

Then there are the games that branch off 7 and 4, but those don't count. Neither do the remakes of the older games.

And then there's this. I JUST NOW gotten to beating FF 1, normally, on the honest-to-goodness NES. Do you realize how much more a pain in the arse this game is than all the other games combined?? There is 10x more grinding just to buy items, and each battle takes 2 minutes, because it's so slow...

Do I...do I still have my life with me? Or did I kill it by beating FF1?
