Amen to that (WTF no replies in one day??). There is no equal to detail, combat system, storyline, and variability, compared to Soul Calibur. It's just...impossible to compare this with any other game; it always wins!!
My favorite is SCIII, but I also have SCIV for the PS3. They did a much better job with the customization of the characters you get to create, but there was no separate storyline for them this time, which was a bummer. But still, all are great games. All four have gotten 8's 9's and even 10's in one of the highest game-rating sites, compared to lower scores that all other fighting games get.
I totally love the music in the game...it is just so awesome! Plus the character customization and the attention to detail rocks! I love that game it is just that I don't have any next gen consoles to play the game.
Soul Caliber 4 was absolutely amazing, but the online play was just infuriating. I was a god with Zaslamel against anyone who had skill, but when any 9 year old played Kilik, I got wrecked. That's pretty gay, if you ask me. Nerf Kilik!
Agreed. I don't mind Kilik's power in general, but is reach is so far, that you simply can't do much to try and get to him, especially if you have a short-ranged weapon. The Apprentice can counter him, but he's cheap too.
SCII is the best one. Best balancing, an awesome story (unlike I, III or IV) and LIIIIIIINK~!
Alt, there is a storyline in III. Even more so with the custom characters. In fact, is there a storyline in II, or is it more along the lines of a list of trials and challenges, followed by dialogue?
He's very easily beaten with a good guard-impact game.
...and, what if the guy playing Kilik can guard-impact too? Besides, parrying is for professional, hard-core gamers.
sc4 is tha best one out of them all darth vader ftw
Not sure if there's any difference between 360 and PS3, but I have 360, and I have Yoda. Impossible to grab him. Also, play Yoda in Japanese. You can almost swear to god every now and then he screams "HERNIA!!"
