Anyone who has seen the movie Swing Vote knows what Insourcing is. It is the process by which illegals come into our country and take our jobs. What we need to do is defend our border, which of course is the reason that any military exists. We also need to expel those here illegally and punish those that knowingly employ them. However many people say that they have already made a new life here and it would be wrong to take it away from them even if they violated our borders to get here. I think they should all be expelled immediately and that our army should do its true job and gaurd our borders. A petty border patrol of volunteers isn't helping out much as you can tell. The reason that they are here in the first place is that it is convient to overlook it while the economy is booming and they actually help increase profits due to the nature of exploitation. Then when things get bad people want to expel them. This is hardly the first time this has happened with immigrants of either status.
It is the law. Do you want terrorists to just be able to walk across our borders? You don't hear about it but they do, and it needs to be stopped.
A similar argument has been employed here in the Uk regarding illegal Pakistani immigration. Interestingly enough, the 2007 bombings were perpetrated by 2nd generation legal citizens.
Secondly, also consider that the 911 attacks were perpetrated by foreigners, not immigrants, legal or otherwise.
Thirdly, consider what has already been mentioned. People enter countries illegally for a variety of reasons. However what they certainly do not want to do is to annoy the native population. They keep their heads down and work for pitiful wages that no American citizen would ever accept. The only reason there is any animosity towards them is because they are a convenient defenceless scapegoat for the right wing media when times get tough. Don't succumb to this propaganda.
A final point I'd like to raise would be, what do you (balerion) think is necessary to prove you are worthy of citizenship? My grandfather on my mother's side came to Britain after the Second World War, having fought for and been wounded whilst serving with British commandos in Greece. This, however was before the Commonwealth Act, and so he was actually denied citizenship, and spent several years in the country as an illegal immigrant. It's my belief that anyone who puts their life at risk for a country deserves to live there.
My point is that the laws regarding immigration do not always reflect accurately who does deserve to become a full citizen. I could just as easily say that all American unemployed who refuse to work should be deported because they have not earnt the right to live there, and that hard working illegal Mexiacn immigrants should take their place as fully fledged citizens.
The Illegals do need to be deported. They are one of the main factors of Americas bad reputation
Bullshit. I would think SO much more of the country if you actually cared for the people who try so hard to help their families or themselves out of the
poor, hot, unsanitary countries filled with gangs in the middle of drug wars.
But you don't. What right do you have to live in the country? You were born there? What right do you have to deny the dream of America to other people?(a dream compared to where they come from, America is NOT the best country in the world)
These dam* day laborers are stinking up this place on the road that I have to go by every day. They just stand there, loitering and waiting for handout work, while my parents have applied to dozens of jobs, and can't even get an interview. I am stuck in the position of school, which last forever, and I can't get a job myself, even if I wanted to. I would have to say 'Fuck you' to my entire working life, and I would have to drop out to be able to make for our fund deficit.
And these illegals go out and get a job in 5 minutes, and decrease the wages of the legals working around them.
I still hate illegals. If they became legal, and got a normal job and didn't wait of the side of the road for $5 a day work, I wouldn't hate them anymore.
DA ILLLLEEEEEEEGALS TOOK OUR JOBS! DEYTUKARKJIBS!!!!!
Illegals deserve citizenship. It IS a crime to cross the border and they need to be punished, but deportation isn't going to help. Give them citizenship, make it illegal for people to work for such low wages, and it'll all be good in the hood.

Won't that encourage more people to illegal cross the border, though? They'll see that others got away with it, so they should try as well. Right now the looming threat of deportation keeps many from attempting to cross.
Why the hell should we give citizenship to people who violate our borders? This is rediculous.
Because just like legals, they're people. Also, why can't we just give 'em citizenship and make them get a job to work off a fine? That way, they contribute to our economy, get punished, and get citizenship. Just because they commit a crime doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to settle down and live a decent life in a decent country.
