Anyone who has seen the movie Swing Vote knows what Insourcing is. It is the process by which illegals come into our country and take our jobs. What we need to do is defend our border, which of course is the reason that any military exists. We also need to expel those here illegally and punish those that knowingly employ them. However many people say that they have already made a new life here and it would be wrong to take it away from them even if they violated our borders to get here. I think they should all be expelled immediately and that our army should do its true job and gaurd our borders. A petty border patrol of volunteers isn't helping out much as you can tell. The reason that they are here in the first place is that it is convient to overlook it while the economy is booming and they actually help increase profits due to the nature of exploitation. Then when things get bad people want to expel them. This is hardly the first time this has happened with immigrants of either status.
They are needed, cause thy do the jobs we don't want to do without them our society would have many problems. Working is not a shame, the problem is in our mentality, nowadays we all want to become doctors and nuclear scientist and nobody wants to do the unskilled work. If we change our way of thinking, you may say that they are not needed and that they steal our jobs. For now they do the jobs we don't want to do. The problem are the bosses they don't want to pay much money on wages, so they hire persons who can be easily exploited, you may not know but many illegal workers have to work to earn the little money they need almost as slaves. They immigrant does not want to decrease the wages, they think that the advanced countries are a land of opportunity where when you work you will soon become rich.
It's not only a economic thing, it's also humanitarian we have the duty to help these persons to escape from poverty.
Balerion, you became a U.S. Citizen, automatically and for free. You haven't actually worked in order to become one, so you really have no say in determining what we should do to individuals who work their butts off to try to make a living. You don't know exactly how hard they actually work, hell, none of us don't. The difference between you, us, and the "illegal" immigrants is a piss poor law that automatically defines them as a criminal. Oh, and a dream of something great in the future.
