I just got Pivot so... Here is my first.

I am trying to make a pterodactyl. Its hard. The next will have a pterodactyl in it.

ive made like 10 animations with pivot, but i still suck because i cant seem to get them to walk good enough.

Is there a way to make them walk/run?

i use pivot and yes it can be very long, but it depends on what you want to make. my longest animation is 600 frames i think

as far as i know 2.2.5 is the best version.

There might be something better out there to use but at least this one is free. The other ones most likely cost

But be careful, on youtube they say there is a version 3 and 4 but i cant find it anywhere on the internet.

enjoy pivot though, it is really fun making videos.

I Downloaded a version on youtube, i have the setup on my desktop, i'll see which one it is.

I got it from snapfiles
gonna try it out, hopefully it works

there are many sites that give away the free version of pivot, but personally i trust software from soft82 the most.

All of my walks and runs have 10 frames, and that is 2 strides. Other animations depend on how long you want them. My finished ones are usually from 100-300.

The one with the fire dude and the wall is 70 right now.

I looked at this tut and then just practiced a lot.

Walking
And this one for help with easing, physics, and movements
And this one for realisticness.
