technology is so advanced now

how long will it continue

i think of it as an inventors block

Technology will grow forever... I do not think that there is a ceiling of what we can accomplish.

Basically.

Even if all the intelligent people in the world were killed all at once society somewhere would restart at a point further back and keep it going.

Just like with the destruction of the Roman Empire.

Sure we lost a tremendous amount of knowledge but we bounced back eventually.

I believe so because we are just scratching the surface with robot technology. There are so many things to invent. Intelligent robots, nanobots, matter transformer, and if possible, warp pads. Or since I am a Cristian if what the preachers are saying is true, the world will end and Christ will come back in the next 30 to 40 years and the last decade will suck major @$$.

Yes it will continue to grow, and that's a fact. Society is going to continue to grow for a very long time. As we discover new things everyday, it will help us build and/or create technologies to help mankind.

Teleportation won't really be a good idea, as you have to first destroy the original individual in one location and then recreate them in another. I would rather walk thank you.

Swim? Naww, you'd fly! Airplanes are your friends. :]

I think I'd feel safer riding an airplane rather then being warped through time, haha.

Lol well I kinda would too but in the future if we colonize another planet and a relative lives on it how's an airplane gonna help you there?

I think it will always keep growing, but will eventually grow slower and slower until we have reached near perfect technology.

There is no such thing as perfect technology... People thought that muskets were the ultimate weapon... now we got more deadly HMG. Things will always get better and can be improved on.
