I agree with deserteagle, Technology will keep growing, thus making old tech obsolete obviously. Thus, we can not have sufficient technology

Technology will stop growing for us when AI starts designing our stuff to perfection, revolutionizing our entire world in just a few days at a pace that would have taken us tens of thousands of years. Because we won't be able to catch up with the AI to know what to invent!

Seriously I saw something on the Discovery Channel and it was the ways the Earth could be completely devoid of life. One was that robots take over and another was that in the future when we have nanobots (microscopic robots) we won't be able to produce them fast enough to produce for peoples medical needs because millions need to be injected at a time. They will have to be programmed to absorb something in their environment around them, metabolize it, and make a copy of them selves. But this will back fire and the nanobots will eat the entire Earth and the Earth will be a giant jittering ball of metal in space.

But I have to say that show was a bit depressing. it stated multiple times that "We will go extinct" repeatedly.

Technology will always grow. There is not one time in history that we look back and we see technology fall back not even in the dark ages now as we study them more closely. Technology has always advanced, and always will. God gave us the capacity and He will return before we reach the halt of technology.
