In Bloons Tower Defense 4 (a.k.a. BTD4) you pretty much just pop balloons for the whole game so here's some tips about what to do to get to the big levels:
1. Towers When you start a new game or you're just starting to actually play you place weak towers right? That's why at the beginning you start with the weak towers and buid up to the big ones because if you start out with the big tough towers you won't be able to keep up with the prices. So main thing start with the weak towers, build up to the big towers.
2.Tower placing If you have the strategy or idea of what tours you're going to use then you have to think about where you're going to place them. The best place to put the towers is where the would pop the most balloons. Like a cannon in the corner of a turn will do alot of area damage. So main thing think about where you are going to place your towers based on whatb they do.
3.Upgrades When you buy a tower they always have upgrades right? That's why you want to rank up to unlock the upgrades. But spend your money carefully. If you've unlocked a new ugrade for a tower try it out in sandbox mode ( if you've unlocked it) to strategize. So main thing use your upgrades wisely!
4.levels As you progress through the game you get to higher levels so you want to buiild a strategy to get to the high levels. What i'm saying is practice, practice, practice to build the best strategy possible. Once you've achieved that just try to keep going, and going, and going! So main thing build a strategy to get to the higher levels!
5. Mochi Upgrades You probably already know that there are Mochi upgrades. My perspective of them: they ruin the fun. I don't use them because I like to play fair. I would only use them if you beat everysingle track on easy, medium, and hard. So main thing only use Mochi upgrades if you've COMPLETELY beaten the game.
Those are the tips that I've got so I hope they help with your gaming on BTD4!
First of all thisisnotanalt you swore(But can get away with it since you spelled it wrong) but you're one of my role models on this game so I don't care and second of all i'm sorry.
Mnob, mild swearing doesn't matter much if it's infrequent. It's against the rules to bump threads, and I was telling you not to in a harsh way because that's how I roll :P
Lol.
Spike-o-pults are not worth the cost to upgrade the dart monkeys.
The best unit for cost is either the buccaneer, the archmage or the mortar battery.
Sun gods are also incredibly amazing. I build up lots of banana farms early on, s I end up with 10 or 12 BRFs in a usual game. This way, I can afford to get a sun god every round consistently (the money from popping the balloons makes up for the few behind I'd be) and so I can get some absurdly powerful setups and build onto them almost indefinitely.
MOAB maulers are useful if you set the target priority to strong and cluster them near the entrance(s) so they can busat open all the MOABs so the monkey archmages can tempest them to the entrance and the sun gods can eradicate them for good. I usually use a combination like that so the balloons never even get close to the exist until the 100s, where there may be 50 BFBs and 100 MOABs in a single level. Once the MOABs and BFBs are reduced to regular-size balloons, they're easily manageable.
SWizards can't keep up with BFBs unless you have a lot of them. Same with sun gods. Quite frankly, you need a lot of anything to keep up with BFBs. It's best to have sun gods and wizards, because as a combination the sun gods do more raw damage and the wizards are vital tactically because of the tempest tornado - if they're in combo with the moab maulers, the balloons all stay near the start where the sun gods can rip them apart with speed.
By the time the first BFB appears you will have enough. A better combo is to have only ONE sun god smack dab in the middle, boosted with epic range and monkey beacon, a ton of fire rings and arctic wind in the front (lead balloons = wizard's weakness). Plus, the fire rings kill all the misc. balloons. Then, fill the rest with monkey wizards, and a few mortar batteries.
