If you are wondering what this club is about, I will tell you. This club is dedicated club that try's to stop as much spam and flaming as possible. It also try's to change the way people look at ArmorGames.
Right now, AG isn't that great. There is a lot of spam and people aren't respecting this site as they used to. We are here to change that.
If you would like to join, fill out the following....
Times banned-- Times spammed-- (not an exact number put something like "little, alot, etc..." Respect-- On a scale 1 to 10, 10 being the highest (don't lie)
This might sound dumb but trust me, we will do anything we can to help change AG.
Yeah. And isn't this what the mods are here for? Whatever. I do not believe whatsoever that we can make even the slightest difference, but why not, eh?
Times banned--0 Times spammed-- Medium(I used to, when I was new) Respect--8/10
Or we could have someone else rate us on our respect? OK, now I leave. Oh, is this sanctioned in any way? Just curious.
How do you expect a "club" like this to be successful if one of the leaders that you seemingly have (MarioMario) posts spam comments half the time anyways? I can pull multiple forum examples if you so desire.
I was a beta tester and was able to see this site grow, I've seen wayyy to many groups like this fail to even consider this group as one that will be successful.
You are setting it up wrong from the start
Example:
Times spammed-- (not an exact number put something like "little, alot, etc..."
This is completely irrelevant, even if you ask people to not lie, they are going to, besides, the person could have spammed horribly in their past, but be a perfectly good user now. All that is relevant is what kind of user they are now, not their whole record.
Respect-- On a scale 1 to 10, 10 being the highest (don't lie)
I can't even begin to say how flawed this is.
First of all, a "respect level" isn't even something that is quantifiable
Even if it were you can't expect a user to rate his/her "respect level" their rating of themselves would be horribly skewed simply because they would rate them self higher than it probably should be. You would need someone else to rate them, someone who is on the site a LOT that looks at all the forums and can tell what users are popular and respectable.
Finally, there isn't even a need for this club, if the Moderators and Administrators wanted help from the users, they would ask for it, or simply recruit more Community Moderators.
It is possible to make a change, but there really isn't much that a club in the forums could do.
If you want, just talk to your friends about getting AIM and start chat groups over AIM. That way, you can chat in real time to people about the improvement of the forums.
