Anyone scared of lightning or thunder or similar storms?
Just a few seconds ago there was like a 0.5 second pause between the flash and the sound.
Eek...sounds like a tree's going to go up in flames anytime now...

Discuss anything related to the title.

I personally am not, but my grandma's dog was!

Once I woke up during a storm and she(the dog) was standing over me shaking and drooling. She was a big dog so she make my bed start to shake too! The drool was pretty nasty. . .

I absolutely LOVE thunder and lighting. Normal rainstorm = bad Rainstorm with thunder and lightning = good.

I think lighting just looks cool, especially the kind that reaches out with multiple "lightning branches" Thunder just adds to the effect. Normally I like to sit outside during thunder storms and just look at the sky, its so cool.

a slow drizzle just puts a damper on the day. :\\

it's even more fun when it is thundering and lightning'ing at school.

Do you know that 9/10 peaple survive being struck by lightning? Or did 9/10 peaple die for being struck by lightning?

i know that 10/10 people who are struck by lightning are struck by lightning.

I run cross country, and had a lightning strike no joke 20 feet away from me during one practice...I don't care if you said it doesn't scare you, cuz i know everyone of you would have freaked out and run for shelter just like I did.

All I know is...about a little over 100 people die from getting struck by lightning every year.

I'm pretty sure trees suffer more...(forest fires caused by lightning) That probably sums it up.
