Yes Balerion. That thread was not locked because people were making intelligent conversation. And you just contradicted yourself; if there's already a thread like this, and you just admitted it, then this is a duplicate and will be locked anyway.

I'd like to make some things clear:

Nowhere in AG is a 'safe-haven' for spam. Regardless of where it is, a post takes up space and memory, so we have a policy of insisting that it is, in principle, constructive. Even forum games.

We allow "count to 100 before a mod sees it" because this is in essence a game, with a clear goal and opposing sides.

However, simply "counting to 1000" is, for our purposes, indistinguishable from simply reading a post count. "Forum Games" is not synonymous with "Random Stuff", which means stuff that doesn't have a point gets locked, because it sure doesn't have a place anywhere else on this forum.

That's why these counting threads get locked. Feel free to disagree but this is our position on the matter, and we're not changing our minds about it anytime soon.

Also, if you're getting angry on the internet, vent off it kthnx. Not like yelling at people on the internet's going to do anything.
