I think that abortion is not ok, but is ok only in certain circumstances. The problem with abortion is that the two sides are at extremities, with the church saying no completely and doctors saying kill an unborn child by any means possible if the patient wishes. Abortion should only be acceptable if the patient can die or has a medicall condition if not treated. Or if the women was a rape victim, is also acceptable. But for a child that has a disorder not to be born is plain wrong. Or teenagers that were stupid ordrunk and cannot take responsibility for their actions should still have the baby and give it up for adoption. The healthcare bill does not provide coverage for abortions, so that is good.

The church part is true, but doctors no, after a ceartain age they will not allow an abortion unless it threatens both the life of the child and mother.

Okay, let's put it this way, all teenagers suddenly can't have an abortion unless they were raped. One, many, many teenage girls would claim being raped, and then for the ones that didn't the orphanages would be overwhelmed.

Well, there are heaps of young girls with hopes and dreams that don't need to e destroyed with a baby

My idea is that fetuses that were removed by an abortion should be used for stem cell research, so all of them go to a good cause

Abortion is not killing, it is stopping the potential for life, just like not getting pregnant in the first place stops the potential for life.

this is a joke right? codom and birth pills stop the potential for life. right asfter you know what happens, that potential has happened and life is created. life is growing inside the mother, then killed through the abortion.

i think it should not be allowed unless a person is rapped. that is just not right and abortions should be allowed then.
