Hello Armor Gamers!

Welcome to the Winter Armatar Contest! This is not going to be restricted towards Christmas. Entries for other winter holiday celebrations are also encouraged! So if you celebrate Yule, Hanukkah, Christmas, etc., or just like snow, feel free to submit an armatar about it so long as it fits the winter holiday theme. This has a wide range of possibilities!

You can submit your own original armatars to this thread following the theme of the Winter. If it meets our quality standards, I will add it to the 1AP armatar section for all members to use! You can reference previous contests for a better idea of what this is all about here. You can also check out a few select returning Winter armatars from 2009 in the 5AP section.

There are some guidelines, and unless your entry follows these set of rules it will not be accepted.

GUIDELINES:
1. Must be appropriate. Cannot be offensive or profane in nature. Try to keep it clean!
2. The entry must be square, and at least 100x100 pixels in dimension.
3. Must scale down well to 100x100. So if it is larger, make sure that it will still look good when it is scaled down to armatar size. A few suggestions about this:
- Sometimes simple is better. If you go into a lot of detail, it might not look as great when you scale it down. So just keep in mind what the final size will be.
- If you are able to do vector, that can help with the sharpness of the image. However, since they are so small this probably isn't a big issue.
4. Must be completely original. You cannot use elements from other piece of artwork, the entire armatar must be 100% original.
5. Must be Winter themed.

Good luck! And I look forward to seeing some awesome armatars =)

Thank you. I think it is probably my best armatar I've drawn yet.

Cuz I made it in last years winter contest, the halloween contest, and the summer contest.

The snowman with the frame is mine!

If you make a good Armatar and post it here, does Carlie come and consider it?

Uh oh. Somethings going on. My picture in paint isn't loading up. Ah well, didn't take long I'll just do it again. But the way, how do you get the URL of the image? I did mine on paint and then saved to but the URL?

You'll need to upload it to imageshack or photobucket! There, it should tell you the direct link to the image, that would be the url.

How do you down size the photo to make it an armatar?

Are you drawing with paint?

If so, go to the top, the toolbar, and go to image, then go to attributes, and set it to 100 x 100 pixels. then zoom in so you can draw.

Argh. I don't have any experience with Imageshack or PhotoBucket. Maybe Photobucket is better? I don't like the word 'shack'.
I'll just post something here to test it out. I hope it isn't breaching a copyright or something but its made by genithebest in photobucket.
