the wolf approaches the boulder and paws at it you look behind and see that the boulder is blocking a cave

I'll grab a nearby stick, motion for the wolf to stay back, and use the stick as a lever to roll the boulder away from the cave.

If you were smart enough to look at a map you would see Aztecs were in NORTH AMERICA.

Well, they were in Mexico, but they also stretched down from Central America to South America as well.
